The first image (upper left) shows an exterior view of the Adel Mathematics Building from the east. The second image (lower left) shows the lobby of the Adel Mathematics Building with the winter sun streaming in from the south. There is also a picture of the Mathematics and Statistics Department Meteorite. This meteorite, called the Canyon Diablo Meterorite, was found in the vicinity of the Meteor Crater, which is located roughly 40 miles east of Flagstaff. It was donated to the department in 1988 by Dr. Arthur Adel, the longtime NAU mathematics professor for whom the building is named.
